You’re in the right place if you want to find out when the best time to use Tinder is!
Hey, my name is James Langton, I was on the official Tinder top 30 most 'Right-Swiped' on the platform. I am the founder of Dater Help. I offer profile enhancement and dating-app coaching. I aim is to help you get more matches, dates, and create meaningful relationships from dating apps.
Tinder's algorithm is complex and has many data points, but it's common knowledge that the app is busiest (most users online) Monday at 6-9pm.
Tinder favors users who are regularly active on the app because it means they are an engaged user. Who wants to go on a dating app where all the profiles are inactive? Not me, not you, and certainly not your potential dates.
Always remember to be genuine on the app and only 'right-swipe' profiles you are interested in speaking to if you match. Tinder's algorithm recognises when you are swiping on just anyone, and it'll push you down in the rankings so fewer people see your profile = fewer matches. Tinder also takes into account your engagement rate of conversations with your matches.
When you match with someone, message them ASAP so you are fresh in their mind, they remember your bio and why they swiped-right, plus they are still online. If someone goes swipe happy, your message could be buried under multiple other messages, so make it something personal, engaging and interesting that will evoke enough of a reaction to start a fantastic conversation. "Hey, you ok?" is a no go, sadly...
I wrote an article on How to message your Tinder matches which contains a fantastic structure.
You can also check out a video I recently made on what the Tinder shadowban is + how to remove it. Watch it if you aren't receiving any matches or messages.
